Common Questions
Does getting a tooth pulled hurt? You’ll feel pressure but not pain, the area is fully frozen first, and we don’t start until you’re numb. Soreness afterward is managed well with over-the-counter medication for most patients.
Do all wisdom teeth need to come out? No. If yours are healthy, fully through, and cleanable, they can stay. We assess each one on X-ray and tell you honestly.
How long is recovery? Most people are back to work or school the next day for simple extractions; surgical sites take a few days of taking it easier. You’ll get written aftercare instructions either way.
What about replacing the tooth? For visible or chewing teeth, we’ll walk you through options, including dental implants and bridges, with costs, before you decide.
